Originally from Long Island, I transferred to NC State after three years at SUNY colleges and graduated from there. I've called the Triangle area home since 1980, living in Raleigh, Morrisville, Cary, and Apex, giving me a familiarity with these communities. Currently, I live in North Raleigh near Falls Lake with my wife Cathy, an artist and art instructor, and we have two grown sons. In my free time, I enjoy lap swimming, flat-water kayaking, college lacrosse, and, of course, gardening and home landscaping.
